The Air Jordan 7 (VII) Original (OG) -- Cardinals (White / Black -- Cardinal Red) were released in November of 1992, and retailed for $125. They feature a simple white leather upper with perforations, which act as a ventilation system for the foot. The midsole is black, but also features red and white accents. The gold trim on the Jumpman logo and heel tab are also nice touches. The outsole features a weird design with round ice-pick holes or indentations, which were used as a trial, as it was found that they provided great grip for the hardwood. The Air Jordan 7 (VII) features an interesting design, which is similar to that of the Nike Huarache, which was to create a shoe that really sticks to your foot.
